Absolutely agree on first response paper trade for a year min at first.
If you are serious on day trading you need to look at US markets high beta stocks, ASX listed companies just don't have the volume and high price movements compared to US stocks.
Forget about the idea of day trading penny dreadfuls on news ann or high volume days etc. hit and miss and more likely to end up as an expensive mistake.
