hello
I am fairly new to trading, and I have a quick question.
I recently bought shares in one company and sold them on the same day, but i didnt have money in my account for the bought shares, and on the settlement day I was only charged the difference of the 2 transactions.
SO my question is, if I buy shares and sell them on the same day, do I not need to have the required capital in my trading account as long as I sell the shares on the same day?
I will only be charged if I bought for more then a sold?
is this correct?
would appreciate to have some light shed on this.
thanks
