The 2591 molecule, was always touted as the stronger more efficient and cheaper to produce drug but lagged behind Trofinetide in development. Trofinetide therefore was tried and tested otherwise we would have waited much longer for NEU to get a Rett syndrome drug to market. All that matters NOW, Trofinetide works and is helping suffering Rett girls, boys and families live a more comfortable life. One must now look forward to our current 4 trials of phase 2 for 2591 and the rewards that come with success.
If Trofinetide works then i bet that 2591 will as well. NOT long now before results in the first trial.
