The insurers I’ve seen that have already listed Daybue on their formulary lists not only require Prior Authorisation - meaning the treating physician must obtain advance approval from the health insurer to determine if the patient qualifies for payment coverage - but also limit quantity to a 30 day supply per fill. One fund states that the quantity limit is to monitor possible adverse effects and to avoid medication waste.
