Sushi- we are looking to compete with the big boys...we simply want to make small margins at 40 Mil profit per million tonnes. You are not a risk taker being invested in SSN and SSNO...as they producers already with limited upside. Yet still undervalued oil producer. Yet nothing compared with the upside of TRF\IFE. I rode SSN from 1.2c when it was a Diggers and drillers pick 1 year ago. Out at 7c as I see their real value approx 9c. SO very limited upside.
Will we ever produce 1 billion T PA- No way... I do not really understand your point. That supply will outstrip demand I guess... For sure another 2008 Ore price drop is of concern. Yet that is every single one in the sector.
Last time most small Coys went down due to 2008 and yet the cream rose to the top.
We are talking about a 40 Mil tiny MC that can be earning a SMALL 80 mil in profit pa... Now are we too late to market. If Ore drops 50%++ then yes- will it- doubt it with the hugely growing emerging economies. I am an Aussie working and living in China and Thailand and I see explosive growth all around me. Plus these guys have only just got a taste of the life that we take for granted and they want more. Arguably they want it far more than us.
Onwards and upwards for the growing middle classes of the emerging economies and it good for everyone.
A little minnow like IFE\TRF will benefit greatly by selling there tiny products on tiny ships for a 40Mil profit ++ per mil tonne.
I will take those odds at the current MC. As value must be rerated to 300+ Mil going forward on this project once in production.
You are really talking about a supply Vs demand arguement- all you doomsdayers have probably lost 200% ++ in all your GOOM and DOOM for the last 1.5 years. So you had a good time shorting the market for a year in 2008. Well Done.
Bullish on Ore and every other usable commodity being sucked up by the emerging economies on a scale never seen in the history of mankind.
Lets talk again in 3 years and see who was correct. Yes we have a tiny project that will only earn us 40-50 Mil profit per Mil tonnes. Sorry we are not big enough for you.
I gather you have never had a x10 bagger as it not in your risk profile. And that is OK- but do not downramp based not really knowing the story. Stay away from all Ore plays if that is your take... IMO
Cheers JAY
