days of our lives are over

As BBI has now morphed into Prime Infrastructure Holdings (PIH), it will probably now end up being a boring dividend type stock that just plods along with the slowly increasing values of these assets and the income being generated from these assets.

I’m predicting not much excitement anymore, certainly not in the league of the old BBI. Oh well I suppose you can’t have it both ways.

A lot of good times and good people I have had the fortunate experience of learning from, names certainly like Melua, the BBI leader who really kicked started all the interest, followed by a lot of others such as Jonkey1995, petestraining, towie, dargie, otakou, Watford, wachito, joewolf, ifandwhen, timber, nathanblack, VOR, inaflap, sgoni, ProPunter, BigRedRoo, nathanfrost, ejd99, Pviews, and Blues234 plus many, many more.

I would dearly love to meet the people I have come to know so well through the thick and thin of it, all too often with emotions being exposed by the raw and ragged edge of this beast we call the market, while as frail as we can be at times and yet at other times displaying the strength of Hercules, I have to be humble here and just say I have learnt a whole lot from each and every one of you who has been willing enough to give of yourself and risk opening up to others.

There was a lot of talk at times of a survivor’s party and there certainly are survivors, some with smiles and some with frowns, but guess what – all have survived.

So Melua, you’re a young Brisbane lad (or as truth would have it not so young anymore) who knocks around the Milton / Toowong area a bit, and as you are the acknowledged captain of this now sunken BBI ship, where do you see a fitting venue for a get together of the Brisbane survivors and when?
