    Half-time round-up:

Gains for gold miners and property trusts after positive company reports helped the ASX push higher this morning.

At lunchtime the ASX 200 was up 38 points or 0.87% at 4444, led by property trusts, up 2.6% after WDC reported this morning. Also strongly ahead: the gold sector, up 2.6% after LGL's report, utilities +1.8%, telecoms +1.5% and consumer discretionary, +1.2%.

Asian markets were green. Shanghai was up 0.93% and rising, Hong Kong was +0.4% and Japan up 0.64%. Dow futures were neutral at -6. Gold built on overnight gains, rising nearly $3 this morning to $947. Crude oil inched higher to $72.08, up around 30 cents.

Been a regulation morning's scalping here, with bounce trades completed in RHC, MTY, WHE, HYO and CRJ. Watching MMR closely for intraday capitulation.

Potential overnight holds: possibly BBI and BBP at the close for an overnight scalp. AJA looks the goods. CWN and WDS have broken out after reporting.
