MOG just announced this as a price sensitive ann. BAS will have to do the same soon. Should create some movement even though we know they submitted the renewal, they have granted it. Why BAS hasnt announced yet I dont know. Maybe a chance to get in here before they do.

GRANT OF RENEWED PERMIT FOR Vic/P47 INCLUDING JUDITH AND MOBY GAS
DISCOVERIES
Moby Oil & Gas Limited (“the Company”) (ASX code: MOG) is pleased to advise that the Vic/P47 Joint Venture has
been granted a renewal of the Vic/P47 permit for a further 5 year term commencing from 16 November 2009. The
Company has a 35% participating interest in the renewed Vic/P47 permit.

GCA’s certification provides independent confirmation that, subject to successful appraisal, the Judith gas discovery
has the resource volume potential to underpin a commercial development.
By way of comparison, and as an indication of potential commerciality, 22 km to the west of Judith, the Longtom Field
has been developed by Nexus Energy Ltd and is now in production. Longtom is the first commercial production from
the Emperor Subgroup, a geological unit which also forms the potential reservoir at Judith. The Longtom development
proceeded on the basis of a contract to sell a similar volume to the Judith ‘best case’ estimate, in that case 350 PJ
(approximate conversion = 325 Bscf) of sales gas.
