I'm out of FAR at 0.14, for a handsome 26% profit after just 48 hours. Celebrated by ducking into RM Williams and buying an oilskin bomber jacket for myself.
You full-time traders have such a hard job I reckon. Yesterday, I didn't want to go to lunch in case FAR moved too far from its trading range. Today there was a presentation and morning tea for a retiring employee who has been with the company 38 years, and who I've known for 16. This was at 10.30, when FAR was nibbling around 0.15. I went to the presentation, feeling very fidgety throughout.
No regrets about selling FAR - it exceeded my initial expectations, and if it goes to the moon on good news from Shell, then I hope a lot of people make money from it. Who knows - I may even jump back on board and try for 4 out of 4!
