Scott its no secret that I like many others believe MEL is heavily underpriced, however it is clear the mkt will not pay up until it has to with MEL which I fear may require a takeover offer
Even ESG boggles the mind, Santos just outlayed $476m for an interest in its projects underpining a value of $1 a share and it stays relatively flat at 80c-85c on the news? somtimes the market makes no sense
We whinge and moan that all of our companies along with their resources are bieng taken ovr by the chinese, well we have no one to blame but ourselves fellow investors (note this is directed more towards the big end ie fund managers institutions etc etc)
I hope all the foriegn companies like BG and Petronas takeover our CSG sector too at least they're willing to pay up for it
