Half-time round-up:
Australian shares are on track to end the week with a third day of gains despite a choppy morning's trade.
At lunchtime, the ASX 200 was up 10 points or 0.25% at 4057, led by property trusts (+1.1%), financials (0.7%) and industrials (0.8%).
Asian markets followed Wall St higher. The Nikkei was up 0.95% and the Hang Seng 1.3%. Dow futures were recently at +7. Oil and gold were little changed from this morning.
Had some nice bounce trades this morning on AAR, CMV and STO. Rode ERA from the open. Regular IAG trade delivered peanuts this morning, as did yesterday's hold in AWE. Took a position in RIV on expectation that it will play catch-up with the rest of the coal miners, but little progress today. Also back in OGC and looking for a similar bounce to yesterday when/if the bot stops selling.
