    •After markets close Walt Disney delivered a better than expected quarterly result.

    •US$ was stronger to finish with a 0.8% gain, its best single-session percentage advance in more than one month.

    •Gold weaker but got some support from Marc Faber who stated that gold prices would not again go under US$1,000 an ounce.

    •President Obama announces a jobs forum to be held at the White House in December.
