Another fantastic announcement from IGR (IF YOU MISSED IT CHECK igr LAST ANNOUNCEMENT 600+ G/T
GOLD TO 123 G/T AT MAXWELLS
HIGH GRADES AT BASE OF PIT DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS UNDERGROUND POTENTIAL
Integra Mining Limited (ASX: IGR – “Integra”) is pleased to announce high grade gold intercepts to
123g/t from the Maxwells gold deposit at the Company’s Randalls Gold Project, located approximately
60km south-east of Kalgoorlie (Figure 3).
Recently received results from drilling the gold mineralised banded iron formation (BIF) include:
¾ 4.2 metres at 43.22 g/t gold including:
1.3 metres at 123 g/t gold
¾ 12.4 metres at 19.89 g/t gold including:
6.7 metres at 31.92 g/t gold
¾ 4 metres at 13.68 g/t gold
¾ 15 metres at 5.08 g/t gold including:
2.4 metre at 16.31 g/t gold
¾ 3.5 metres at 8.26 g/t gold
¾ 7.8 metres at 7.71 g/t gold
Assay results have been received for the final seven diamond drill holes testing banded iron formation (BIF) hosted gold mineralisation at the base of the proposed Maxwells open pit (Figures 1 & 2). Results have demonstrated high to very high grades of gold mineralisation further emphasizing the potential for underground production with high grade gold mineralisation expected to persist to significant depths below the base of the proposed open pit.
The Maxwells open pit, in conjunction with the Salt Creek open pit, underpin the Phase 1 development of the Randalls Gold Project. Integra is expecting final project approvals shortly and is well advanced in discussions with lenders for the remainder of funding required for project construction. The Company has completed the first tranche of a capital raising, with the second tranche subject to shareholder approval at the Company’s AGM on November 20th. The funds raised will provide the equity funding component for project development. Project commissioning and first gold pour is expected in August 2010.
In addition to the robust Phase 1 project development (IRR 71%), Integra has identified further Phase 2 open pit production from a number of additional gold deposits and is currently evaluating the potential for underground gold production from the Maxwells, Cock-eyed Bob and Santa BIF hosted gold deposits with the potential to expand gold production from an initial 75,000 ounces per annum to +140,000 ounces per annum (refer ASX announcement 30 October 2009).
Yours sincerely,
