Morning all

I got back into the oil patch yesterday after a disappointing start on Tuesday where I watched my AOE and ROC positions go sideways. Yesterday morning I dumped AOE for a loss and then made up for that with an afternoon sell in ROC. Some profits also came from a scalp in BPT so all up it wasn't a bad result.

I'll be watching all three again today and I'm interested to see whether BPT shorters will be forced to cover. It's a shame we can't get the ASX daily short list until the mid morning to see what they're up to before the market opens.

Some other shorted mid caps on my list are: HVN GNS APN CSR LNC BKN TEN.

All of these, except CSR finished yesterday with a green candle so perhaps some shorters are buying back stock. CSR got trashed on the back of the BLD guidance and it will be interesting to see if there are any new short positions today.

A couple of others for the watchlist are AIO (thanks pj) which has put together a two good days and MGR (thanks kevi) which got knocked back towards support levels.
