Morning all.

Quick market update: the S&P 500 rallied more than 3% overnight to clock up a fourth consecutive green day in the US. The rally was led by financials on speculation that a "bad bank" to soak up toxic assets was nearing reality. Bank indices soared by 13 - 19%. There was also strength in REITs and miners except goldies as the pog eased another 1% from recent highs.

Oil gained 1% and base metals except zinc were stronger.

Our futures like it a lot, pointing to an open around 90 points higher than yesterday's XJO close as our market continues to play catch-up. Anyone who held overnight should be in the money.

I'm having a shocker this week, so I'll leave the trading suggestions to others until I'm back in the groove.
