Morning traders.
Market wrap: a late rally carried US markets higher for the first session in three after a night of choppy trading. The major indexes rallied twice off session lows to close 0.6 - 1.9% higher.
Oil turned north after US inventories rose less than expected, climbing 4% to $50 after three days of losses. Gold was flat for the session, recently trading close to unchanged from this time yesterday at $880.30. Base metals continued to rally, although gains were modest as the Easter break approaches.
Futures traders reckon the local market is due some relief after two days of heavy losses. The SPI closed up 40 points at 3665.
Two days of falls have brought a host of shares back into the buy zone for swing traders. Shares I'll be looking at this morning include DXS, MMX, PNA, TOE, SGP, MCR, CSR, CEY, FCL, BLY, RHC, IMD and BSL.
Good luck to all.
