A profit is a profit and if only trading then it doesn't really matter if you pay a higher prce to get back in if a stock is going up .
The 10.5 cent price last week is likely to be a index reweighting issue after S and P dropped it from and ASX index .
You mention long term . I am definately of the opinion that short term to mid term is a more likely timeframe to watch .
