I still believe this is one of the best threads on HC. And I don't see any problem with checking out hot tips. To me, that's what the DT thread is for. What happened with IMU today is not a big deal, nor suspicious, IMO.
But you don't just have to read the markets, you have to read the poster himself - is he ramping so that he can sell you what he bought yesterday? So far I don't think it's happened a lot, but I have read some posts that made me wonder. Of course it can't be proved so you just have to have eyes in the back of your head, so to speak. It's good training.
