Had a thought about what @Endless posted about a few new faces, it is a hard game and a dangerous one. I can see from a few questions over the last few weeks some will not be around for a long time.
Anyway one that helped me a lot, although it was one of the penultimate reads after many years in the market, is Tom Williams and his VSA principles. You can google it and I'll attach the link to a pdf download. Now, I'm not pushing charting but what is important is some of the psychology behind the market - at least this might help someone new at least pick the right direction a share is moving and the reasons things happen - or not.
There's a whole list of good reads out there, and there isn't any shortcuts.
