Does anyone use performance enhancing substances while they trade? Like coffees or coke for caffeine, beer for god knows what? weed? oh that's right none of us smoke weed cos it's not legal yet. Flu tablets? Orange juice? Whatever? I take creatine, its a supplement used by bodybuilders and it helps me with mental stamina. I find the difference in my mental alertness and ability to multi-task - check HC, market depth, charts, trades (it's like mental circuit training) for long periods of time - is huge. I'm wondering how others address the need for mental stamina as a daytrader.
I also eat a good breakfast - usually a salad or stirfry - I used to start the day with a steak or such but rarely eat red meat these days. So its vegies or sometimes prawns or fish to start the day. And a multi vitamin.
