I'm impressed that you seam to be holding up so well considering the job.

Keeping them hydrated is it.The more the better if you can get them into the habit of drinking all the time. Complications otherwise and delusions is putting it mildly. I reckon you know why.

Here a tip for dementure. A game changer. When the cycle or syndrome becomes unmanageable just slip into the next room and phone. Yell out its probably for you,could you pick up the phone please. Have an unrelated conversation.So nice to talk to you again.How have you been. How's the family ,How's the pet dog, family car etc etc . When finished re-enter the room and ask who was on the phone .
They will probably say you to you without connecting but that's ok as its for a preferable outcome though not sure I would do it in front of the family unless you were sure of them.

It can be a difficult job though you seem relaxed.
