Europe swinging lower from earlier, but FTSE and DAX still in the green. US futures have turned back down to -24 (-ve .19%), although they were looking considerably better only 10 minutes ago. US CPI and current account deficit tonight. Shanghai had a good close, up 1.27%.

Received a phone call around 11am. Looks like my mother has written her car off...her fault, but the police said it is a particularly accident prone local spot. Fortunately no injuries to anyone involved other than a few bumps. As a result most of my day was spent sorting things out.

Had a bid in for PRR which was close to the top at day's end, so can decide whether to leave it there or pull out tomorrow.
