I guess everyone has their own style as long as you are profitable is what counts. Myself, I couldn't imagine day-trading without live data, and the majority of the time I pay close to no attention to indicators/oscillators for day trading speckies, only for ST-LT trading, the main thing I'll look at for day trading speckies is support/resistance/price action, no point sitting there with analysis paralysis and end up missing a good day-trading opportunity. I find many indicators close to useless for speckies, but more useful for higher priced stocks where I think there is more buyers/sellers worrying about them. But everyone is different, profit is profit at the end of the day
