@mirren, that's a great story - it's awesome to hear of people's successes, especially with that dreaded cancer. I understand your appreciation of cutting edge technology with your daughter, a close young family member of mine was born with cystic hygroma, which is a lymphatic malformation - a condition that has had huge advances in recent years. Previously patients were facing a lifetime of multiple yearly operations and severe facial disfigurement where as advances in drugs and techniques now mean an op every few years and a not too noticeable swelling. Most of us don't really appreciate our health until it is jeopardised or someone we love has problems. Best of luck to you and your daughter.
