Good morning Trees!
I've limited my range from 0.10 to 0.60, and check the ATR for a higher probability of giving me at least 0.5-1cent movement. I too tend to score ~150 after costs, but anything more is better :)
My biggest issue is timing - my mind wants to be a DTer, but my real successes (when they happen) are typically at 3-5 days. I seem to mistake churn fluctuation for breaks, go in early, and twiddle my thumbs. I suppose checking the ATR allows me, as a backup, to exit in the churn if I want to, but I know my approach is holding back better profits.
I'm working on it - I'm training myself into more 'educated hesitancy', hence my judgment in DEG.
