COMMENCEMENT OF DATELINE JOINT VENTURE

The Board of Conto Resources Limited (ASX: CNO) (Conto or the Company) is pleased to announce the commencement of the joint venture with Dateline Resources Limited (Dateline) following the satisfaction of the final conditions precedent to the transaction. The joint venture was established for the purposes of exploring and developing Dateline’s Udu Project in the Republic of Fiji. The terms of the transaction are as disclosed in the Company’s Notice of Meeting announced 15th March 2013 and were approved by shareholders at the subsequent general meeting on 15th April 2013.
The Company and Dateline have agreed a detailed exploration programme for the Udu Project to be undertaken during the 2013 calendar year (Phase 2 Exploration Programme) which is currently underway.
