There are people much better than me on here, I am still a noob! But, what I do is look at the big movers (up and down) then look at the trade counts and volume, then ANN's that may be on there way/happened and how this affected the SP. This more or less just helps me add to my watchlist and give me an educated guess as to where I think the SP will move. I don't know how to tech trade, though I am slowly learning by watching what some of the regulars do.
