    Some say that one in a hundred DTs actually makes a profit; others say 5 in a hundred.

    Whatever it is it might be worthwhile having a think about the structure you should use for DTing.

    It can be as an individual, company, trust or SMSF (although the last is debatable depending on the purpose, etc).

    If you make losses and have other income to offset the losses then individual might be the way to go.

    I suggest though that you have a good think, make some notes including issues around being a share trader and have a chat with a good accountant (I understand the initial consultation may be free, just ask).
