The thing with public forums is they are for everyone, not just for those whose style of posting we like. Everyone is entitled to post their own way and I don't really see a problem with the mix of good and sheet posts. If we worked in a real office, we would not be lucky enough to press an ignore button and silence our pesky co-workers. And if all the posts were great quality, I would probably feel a bit of pressure to "perform" or "behave".
Those with experience can recognise when others are trapped or hopefully ramping or whatever but we were all beginners once and if we are going to trade in a public environment, it wouldn't hurt to throw some constructive criticism around when you can see someone is going through the tumbler.
@jeans_sammy is good at this and helped me become a better trader in just a few short kind sentences. Sometimes that is all that is needed to pointed someone in the right direction.
Sure, it would be great if only people who knew what they were doing posted and all posts contained intelligent useful information but it's never going to be that way so why not just accept each other, quirks and all. Daytrading is a fast environment and sometimes the adrenalin takes over and all that comes out is woohoo or ABC's gonna run. So what if it doesn't? The thought is out there - take it, leave it or ignore it but surely if we focus on what is going right, not what is going wrong, it will be a nicer place to trade.
