VCR is close to receiving CE Mark approval which enables the device to be sold throughout europe..
in the coming weeks VCR will be presenting at a cardiothoracic surgeons meeting -
VCR will be the first 3G pump to market in Europe.
It has implanted more 3g devices than any company to date.
My speculative point is that VCR is ripe for a takeover by Medtronic/Guidant et al. This fits with there product suite of Pacemakers and Defibrillators perfectly... Being first to market will also be a very attractive view point.
Ultimately it is a great company with or without a takeover..
From the volume that has been going on over the past 2 weeks.. Someone is accumulating substantial amounts of VCR.
