Moffy , yes , ASB Securities , pretty basic platform but it does the job for me as a part timer and I found it pretty simple to use when I was starting out a few years back . Trading out of a AUD account so no need to worry about day to day currency flucuations and just transfer funds back into NZD when the exchange rate is in my favour .

Im looking into switching to Direct Brokering which is Linked to the ANZ . Has a few more features but seeing that I bank with ANZ its a lot easier for transfering funds into my spending account with being able to do it all online . With ASB you have to ring them up if you want to transfer money out which is a bit of pain

Find it a bit expensive trading out of here though AUD30 per trade so when converted back to NZ Peso's it starts to add up..
