  2. Industrial Production [ Market moving indicator]
    [The index of industrial production is available nationally by market and industry groupings. The major groupings are comprised of final products (such as consumer goods, business equipment and construction supplies), intermediate products and materials.]

  3. Jobless Claims [ Merits extra attention]
    [New unemployment claims are compiled weekly to show the number of individuals who filed for unemployment insurance for the first time. An increasing (decreasing) trend suggests a deteriorating (improving) labor market. The four-week moving average of new claims smoothes out weekly volatility.]

  4. Treasury International Capital [ Merits extra attention]
    [These Treasury data track the flows of financial instruments into and out of the United States. Instruments tracked include Treasury securities, agency securities, corporate bonds, and corporate equities. ]

  5. EIA Natural Gas Report [ Merits extra attention]
    [The Energy Information Administration (EIA) provides weekly information on natural gas stocks in underground storage for the U.S., and three regions of the country. The level of inventories helps determine prices for natural gas products.]

  6. Housing Market Index [ Merits extra attention]
    [The National Association of Home Builders produces a housing market index based on a survey in which respondents from this organization are asked to rate the general economy and housing market conditions. The housing market index is a weighted average of separate diffusion indexes: present sales of new homes, sale of new homes expected in the next six months, and traffic of prospective buyers in new homes.]

  7. Net Long-Term TIC Flows (Feb) [ Moderate volatility expected]
    [The total Net TIC Flows is released by the US Department of Treasury. TIC stands for Treasury International Capital. It shows in and out flows of financial resources in the United States. The TIC flows is one of the major events in the market, as it is seen by most participants as the Government resource for offsetting the current Trade Deficit. Generally speaking, a high reading is positive (or bullish) for the USD, while a low reading is negative (or bearish).]

  8. Empire State Mfg Survey
    [The New York Fed conducts this monthly survey of manufacturers in New York State. Participants from across the state represent a variety of industries.]

  9. Philadelphia Fed Survey
    [The general conditions index from this business outlook survey is a diffusion index of manufacturing conditions within the Philadelphia Federal Reserve district. This survey, widely followed as an indicator of manufacturing sector trends, is correlated with the ISM manufacturing index and the index of industrial production.]

  10. Fed Balance Sheet
    [The Fed's balance sheet is a report showing factors supplying reserves into the banking system and factors absorbing (using) reserve funds.]

  11. Money Supply
    [The monetary aggregates are alternative measures of the money supply by degree of liquidity. Changes in the monetary aggregates indicate the thrust of monetary policy as well as the outlook for economic activity and inflationary pressures. ]

    [Treasury bills are sold at public auctions every week.]
