Stocks I will be watching closely today:

RTL Corporation Limited (ASX: RTL) broke resistance at 4cps yesterday IMO on the back of RIV announcing they have made the transition from explorer to producer status at their Benga Coal deposit. RTL has an option over three coal tenements in Mozambique, one of which is located within 20km from RIVs Benga Coal deposit. Considering the huge interest in the coal sector I believe RTL will be riding on RIV's coattails up until at least decision making time (26th April) on their option to acquire the three coal tenements.

PharmAust Limited (ASX: PAA) Today is the last day to take part in PAA's option entitlement- one (1) new Option for every two (2) Shares held by Shareholders at an issue price of 0.2 cents per Option. PAA have a 10% working interest in Lambouka (270 Million Barrel potential) which is scheduled to be drilled in the June quarter 2010.

Astro Resources NL (ASX: ARO) Plenty of large volumes have gone through ARO in recent weeks in what seems to be the changing of the guard between several major shareholders. ARO has mentioned in previous announcements that they are looking to acquire new resource projects and in particular are focusing on Uranium, Gold and energy plays. The second tranche of a recent placement is about to be issued, which IMO may suggest that the right punters are all set and project news will follow soon after?
