U.S. Stocks Advance on Optimism About Earnings, Economy Growth

April 15 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. stocks rose, sending the Standard & Poors 500 Index toward its longest weekly winning streak since 2007, as optimism that earnings and the economy are growing overshadowed an unexpected increase in jobless claims.

My comment:
This optimism is what is currently driving the market, so if one is day trading I guess it's hard to ignore, even though I suspect it might be misplaced optimism.
