Thanks Barnsty! I put this up on the charts forum yesterday but I'll include it here, just as an example of a HR failure playing out - ie when price pivots BEFORE the trend line/median line - it would have saved you going long or holding a long position overnight at least on BHP.
(Hope its ok posting it here - I do day trade BHP and I DO look at this stuff when I'm doing it.

In answer yes, I was using VSA - and if you are interested I have a couple of PDFs in my sig (apart from the pitchforks) Start with "Master the Markets" before the second book if you are interested. Mitta and Funkymonk are active traders who employ VSA (there could be others) if you want to read through their stuff.
