Sure but most CFD's are blue chips with much less volatility.
The stocks talked about about on the DT forum are much more riskier and volatile in nature and sumtimes suffer with volume issues. So why not leverage up a low volatile blue chip with a CFD's to match the volatility of sum of the other stocks discussed on here and get the upside of a very liquid high moving price to go in and out of.
And also less stock specific risk since the companys tend to behave unlike sum others (not mentioning any name cough CDU cough)
