Chums, while placing a sell order recently, I suddenly realised this: Being a shareholder with a token number of shares, eg: 1, 5, 10, etc, can sometimes lead to a wonderful placement offer at a nice discount to the market. There was one recently this week - I can't remember what it was, but the offer was at 8c while the shares were trading at 18-20c.
Do any of you experts deliberately leave a handful of shares on the register for this exact purpose?
