YT, regarding trading volumes next month, my initial thoughts were similar to yours but a look at a weekly chart for the last few years showed volumes usually recover from the middle of the month. Last year was subdued through to February but that doesn't appear typical. However, the chart says last week was definitely the last high-volume week for this year.
