Re; NWE - I have only just seen this query to me, so I do apologise for the tardy reply.
The options are being traded on a 'deferred settlement basis' which which simply means the following:-
"Settlement in which the obligation to settle on a trade date plus three (3) business days (T+3) basis is deferred until the time following the despatch date that ASX fixes." [Source: asx.com.au]
Poster 'gassed' made mention of this this morning actually, as well as the relevant dates as well (see Post: 6335129):-
"New options quoted on a deferred settlement basis 14 February 2011
Despatch of holding statements & deferred settlement ends 21 February 2011
Quotation of New Options 22 February 2011
Exercise price .10 by 30 June 2012. (conditions apply if exercised early, see prospectus)."
