Welcome to Day 2 in the Day Trader pre-market, morning & afternoon 'Trials'!
Nice to see Gold up overnight currently sitting at $1,117.80/oz atm; Oil was up by $3/barrel, the AUD was up & now sitting at 90.2c against the USD, and the Dow's in a triple digit rally ending up by ~170pts to close at 10,268.81.
Of note: The Whitehouse has just announced its next advance on climate change which is to jump start the nuclear power industry with an $8.3bn loan guarantee to build 2 new reactors in Georgia, and Senate Reps support building 100 new plants - (Source: AFP) "building 100 new plants as quickly as possible." Currently 56 reactors are under construction around the world - 21 in China, 6 in South Korea and 5 in India. There have been no nuclear power plants built in the US since 1979. This could spike U prices imo and shine the spotlight on the sector.
