Welcome to Day 5 in the DT pre-market, morning & afternoon 'Trials'!

DJIA Index: Finished the session 3pts higher.
SPI Futures: Up 58pts.

It could be a good day today imo! The 7 Network's have just announced a massive $509m profit this morning and is restructuring its companies; Analysts are suggesting that the Greek rescue should calm the markets; and the US CPI figures rose less than expected in January which eased worries about inflationary pressures & brought the US markets back from the brink on Friday to finish in the green.

Gold was Up $9.00 and is currently sitting at $1,117.10/oz (Kitco); Oil was Up 75c to $79.81/barrel (NYMEX/Bloomberg); and the AUD/USD is firmer to be currently sitting at 0.9005 cents (Forex. Live).

Of note: A big week lies ahead for Wall Street this week according to this cnnmoney.com article where: "A bevy of reports on the housing market, employment and GDP growth are due this week. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke heads to Capitol Hill to testify on the state of the economy and monetary policy. Also in Washington, lawmakers meet to debate the Toyota recall, the Treasury budget, bank health and whether more stimulus is needed." [Please Click here for full Article]
