    News release: Update: drilling program in Syria to commence early 3Q 2011 for the potential resources of 500 million barrels of oil. Source. AAE's Partner Kulczyk Oil ventures.

    Kulczyk Oil and its joint venture partners have executed a drilling rig contract with Sinopec International Petroleum Company for a drilling campaign in Block 9, Syria. Two exploration wells are planned for drilling this year with Itheria-1, the first well in the program, expected to commence drilling in early Q3 July.
