Hi all, just back yesterday. What a trip. I am absolutely routed. Gonna take me till next Monday to be in a fit state to do any trading. Nice to see a few of the gang have survived. Market looks very dicky but tax loss selling should throw up a few bargains for end of week.
Spain was a great place to tour around. Nice n cheap, good hotels, lots to see. Went into France briefly and standards went down pretty quick, but that was Pyrynees only. Had a lot of fun in a few days in Brighton UK with a mate who took us to as many pubs as possible. Jeez they have good pubs. Don't know whether that is a good or bad thing. He kept trying to tell me the beer was good for you as well! I didn't have the heart to tell him he looked terrible.
Highlight of trip was meeting "Joe" whose wife introduced him as an economist. I said, "hi Joe, I'm a daytrader, we all think you guys are hopeless, we usually do the opposite of whatever you say". Then I find out he's Joe Stiglitz, Nobel Prize winner for economics. Lol. Hope he learned something. :>
I'll just lurk about for a few days while I catch up. Took a look at my watchlist and barely recognise anything. I am so out of touch.
I see Mr KR has attempted to disguise himself with new nick. I know who you are.
Looking forward to getting back into it. Gotta put in some hard yards till next holiday.
