Good Morning all (and thanks again for opening up in Highlandlad's absence for the next few days poly & Libart),

    US - Market Reflections - Monday 20th June, 2011

The market is pricing in success for Greece where the government this week is expected to win a confidence test and in turn pass new tax hikes and spending cuts. The Euro zone, which is threatening to hold back 12 billion euros in emergency loans, has given the country two weeks to adopt the measures.

Gains were centered in the stock market where the Dow rose more than a half percentage point to 12,080. Other markets show little change with oil ending at $93 and gold at $1,540. The euro is steady at $1.4300 against the dollar.

Market Focus in the US this evening

Continuing trouble for housing would be a greater risk to a now slowing economy.
