    Thanks Tweets. Half-time round-up:

Australian shares rolled lower this morning as regional markets backtracked and U.S. futures turned negative.

At lunchtime the ASX 200 was down 11 points or 0.23% at 4806 and retreating from the morning high of 4836. The market has had four runs at the 4840 mark in the last four sessions and each time has fallen back.

Property trusts and gold miners were the main drag on the market this morning, falling 0.9% and 1.3% respectively. IT stocks led the few sector gains at +0.7%. Financial stocks were off 0.5% and the miners were down 0.1%.

Asian markets tracked lower. Japan's Nikkei dipped 0.25%, Shanghai 1% and Hong Kong's Hang Seng 0.8%. Dow futures were recently at a bearish -37 points.

Crude oil futures continued to pull back, down another 0.5% or 42 cents this morning to $80.83 a barrel. The spot gold price was $2.40 higher at $1,103.90 an ounce.

A solid start to the week here after bounces in CTP, URA and MAP but I left a lot on the table.

Good to have you back on board, Exit. And congrats to Kaya for getting what has to be the first ever Prefab Sprout reference onto this forum, lol. Good song, too.
