Viphar, your brokers report is a good first effort for an amateur. I like the way you've qualified your estimates, but be careful with generalisations and assumptions. For example, the A$ and $US have not had valid inverse relationships with the price of gold in recent years, and the GFC was not the start of the gold bull - it was already 6 years into its run. And you can't assume Gold will continue to appreciate - although we all hope it will, so most conservative broker reports err on the side of a gold price pullback.

Spell checkers are a good idea, but they won't catch out your use of "respectfully" when you really meant "respectively"!
