Nyrstar payed IBG 12.5c a share last time when the SP was trading at 13.5c. Shortly after it shot up to 25c.
This time around Nyrstar will pay 35c in an off-market deal for a total of 30% of the company with a seat or two on the board. This is the negotiated price because if they wanted the volume they could have paid up to 65c.
Completely different to CBH where Nyrstar couldn't get in the door to start with. Also the Fjords in Greenland are becoming open to ship access for lot longer periods as the ice melts due to global warming so the chance of mining starting a lot earlier than quoted has increased also.
