the unusual volume scanner i normally used is called type4 in my internal system. I noticed that it could be used to scan for large parcels including directors buying. The link is a report of all stocks that have hit my type4 and have correlated with a "change in substantial holdings" notices. The field createdate is the time my system scanned it and the other is the announcement date. Noticed the scanner picked it up a fews days earlier.
Ive tightened up my parameters so this list should be safer but still give good gains. However may need to be held for the mid term. These are the ones i tend to focus on. List was scan for the last 30 days.
These are my conditions. Possible director buying. Stochastics in a oversold position. sound liquidity. sound volume. makes money. low debt and sorted on volume/volumeEMA(40)
Out of 22 stocks scanned i found 6 possible directors buying in. The others were strong intraday moves.
