"In announcing the expansion of the Flamingo project on April 30, Queensland Minings managing-director Howard Renshaw said the company was confident the resource will be increased from the current drilling program, with first results due in early May.
He also confirmed earlier talk of Chinese interest in the company. In early April, Renshaw was invited to the ShanDong Gold Groups offices in Jinan, capital of ShanDong Province to meet chairman XueSheng Fu and senior executives.
Renshaw said they expressed an interest in forming an alliance with Queensland Mining and its planned that four of Shandongs most senior management will visit Australia in May-June for further meetings and a site visit to Cloncurry."
