Times like this are there to separate the wheat from the chaff; I'm sure. My portfolio is very much southbound and those few trades were mixed. Any sunshine clouded immediately. I sold my IOH options about a week ago; However I didn't expect them to be hit as hard they did. One must wonder if this is one company which copped more than its fair share of flogging thanks to the super tax. I will be watching IOH in the next few weeks.
I accidentally look at the quarterlies of GFE. It is a company which is not on my watchlists nor do I contemplate putting it on them. However what struck me was that there were only 2 items on page 1 of app 5B. Admin expenses - 459 and interest received 12. This is for the 9 months ending 31 Mar. No sales no exploration expenses no nothing else just a trickle of interest and admin expenses.
Lets hope we can part the red sea today.
